  1. I just heard Dan say that until today, the Tigers had gone 13 consecutive games with Cabrera coming up in the 1st with 2 out and nobody on.

At some point in time the coincidence pendulum has to start to swing back, right?

    1. Davis and Kinsler are both ice cold right now, you know that will change for Kinslet. Davis I’m not sure.

  2. Where would we be without Victor? And great to see Suarez hasn’t cooled off (could’ve used that last night though)

  3. with his 17th HR in the 3rd, VMart now has 13 career home runs on 0-2 pitches…and oddly enough just 11 career homers on 2-0 pitches

the man has been impressive, and the team MVP thus far

  4. My scorebook sez that the Tigers haven’t put a 5 spot on the board in one inning since game 32 against the Twins on 10MAY. BTW Gibson was pitching!

  5. …and with Suarez’s HR and double that inning, Romine has solidified his position as utility middle infielder – and he (Romine) can’t say he didn’t get his chances

it would be nice to get some consistent production from the SS position again

  6. Suarez is set up to hit for the cycle. Meanwhile it is sad to see Plouffe hurt as he is a good ballplayer and tiger killer.

  7. Dan + Jim mentioned the Tigers exceeded in that inning the runs provided for Sanchez for the last three games. They also need to take him out to dinner tonight.

  8. Cant score two runs in about 90 innings and go nuts today….big deal.. enjoy today, tomorrow the real Tigers will be back trying to score at all!!!! Sorry I feel this way but thats the way it is!

  9. Avila and Su had a HR, a double, a triple, 3 rbi, 5 runs scored….Avila easily wins P.O.G again!

  10. This is ridiculous. All this game is missing is Nathan to come in and blow the save.

  11. Reed could of pitched the 7-8-9…but no Smarty would rather burn tru the entire blowpen….again…… that make Nathan available tomorrow
