Tiger Playoff Tickets On Sale Today

In case you live in a hut (with internet access) and haven’t heard, Tiger playoff tickets for the divisional series go on sale at 10am today. It was previously announced that tickets would be available at the Comerica Park box office at 10am and online at 2pm. That’s been changed.

The new deal is that tickets are only available online at tigers.com or via phone at 248-25-TIGER.

Ticket prices range from $35 to $110. You are allowed to purchase up to 6 tickets per game.

  1. I’ve been trying..I haven’t gotten any yet. When I get through the wait it says there’s nothing available

  2. I got very lucky. Four for game 1, four for game 2 and four for game 3! All in the upper deck, but who cares!

  3. i ended up gettin semi lucky. Mine are all standing room except three. But I got 9 to the first, 5 to the second, 2 to the third.

  4. I think they must be holding back a lot of tickets for bigwigs, expected future season ticket buyers, etc.

  5. I got nuttin, nada , stank, Looks like stub hub for me. Bummer and i saved a few vacation days for the drive in and out.

  6. Couldn’t get a pair, but did get a single for game 2. That’s fine. If they make the ALCS then I’ll be more bugged if I don’t get multiple tickets (yeah, I know, demand will be even higher).

  7. can anyone tell me if they know if there are obstructed view tickets at comerica. a friend got tickets for game two and claims they said obstructed view…i didn’t think there were any at this ballpark. maybe i’ll be sitting behind a pole at tiger stadium?

  8. I failed, I tried right when it opened up on ticket master and a few searches failed with some error (after waiting 10 minutes), then there was nothing but SRO 🙁

  9. Wow, it appears I somehow got VERY lucky! I got two tix each to games 2 and 3 (didnt try for game 1), in frontish rows of the upper deck, all within the space of the first 11 minutes. Dumb luck must have struck me hard! But that means odds are I’ll get nada for the ALCS if we make it. 😛

  10. can anyone tell me if they know if there are obstructed view tickets at comerica.

I think there are a few dozens seats behind each foul pole that are officially designated as “obstructed view”, but I wouldn’t worry about it.

  11. Hopefully the Tigers last longer in the postseason than their tickets were on sale. Gone in under 1 hour.

Do you think people have been desperate for some postseason baseball around here? 🙂
