    Good thing is, he was never really a power hitter. Just a good, solid hitter who could go to the opposite side, move runners, and come through wth RISP. It’s great news. I just hope hope he’s not apprehensive to start hitting. He’s been pretty emotional about this injury. If you will recall after he was hit in the head with a pitch and out for a couple days, it took him some time to come around. I agree with Lee Panas…it’s going to take some time for him to get back in form. Hopefully by October we’ll have the old Polly back.

  2. T Smith, the power thing was just a joke. Shoulder injuries are notorious for sapping power, but I’m assuming that won’t affect PP’s play much. Just a little ribbing for the one starter on this team who doesn’t rely on hitting the ball out of the park.
