    1. Ausmus most probably could not successfully manage a high school team, catchers can’t hit, Wilson’s can’t pitch and Upton is a clown, can’t hit, run, catch or throw. Gee, wonder why the Tigers can’t beat anyone!!!!

  1. It looks like Salty is Chuck Norris tough. After he the shot he took on the knee I thought he would never come out to catch.

  2. Oh &€¿¥! The game comes on at 6PM and I thought it was a night game coming on at 0100PM. Let me quickly eat and get back to the room for some Tiger action! Hilsanger frän Gälve, Sweden!

  3. OK. do you still think Aviles should start instead of Moya against lefties? Of course there are those frat photos.

  4. Casty and Kinsler shouldbe All Stars before Cabrerra this year!..
    First half MVPs
    1. Kinsler
    2. Casty
    3. Mabin
    4. Fulmer

10.. Everyone but Lowe, Sanchez, Pelfrey, Aviles, McCann, Upton

    1. Good list Judd. Casty is a kid in a Candy Store playing for his first championship. Watch him soar in Toronto!

  5. THE MONKEY IS OFF OUR BACKS!

Scariest point of the game today was when Kipnis stepped on Fulmer’s foot on the DP. Fulmer looks sensational. Today he was not as sharp early as we have seen before, but he hung in there until the bats woke up from their epic sleep. This kid has guts. He was asked to face a team we had not beaten in 11 this year. If that weren’t enough the “big guns” were rusted up. Before today, Miggy had not had a single RBI against the Indians all year. Didn’t seem to bother Fulmer much.

    1. Fulmer has been the best/most consistent starting pitcher for DET in the first half – i guess that is both the good news and the bad news about DET’s SP’ing so far.

Though they have very good SP’ing and a great Mgr, I still believe CLE is playing over their heads, and they’re a key injury away from leveling off or stringing some losses together (and its getting to be that injury time of year). I don’t think any team is going to run away w/the AL Central, but unless DET solves their pitching (many) issues, their current 5 games over .500 may be their highpoint for the remainder of the season.
