St. Lucie 2 Lakeland 6
Wil Rhymes was 3 for 3 with a walk. Wilkin Ramirez and Justin Justice each had 2 hits. Burke Badenhop went 5 2/3 innings allowing 2 runs on 7 hits.

Minors News

Matt explores the Eulogio De La Cruz promotion. I hadn’t thought much about it, but maybe they are giving him a whirl as a reliever at the higher level to see if he can be added to the bullpen. His starter numbers are better than as a reliever, but his stuff can be impressive regardless.

TigsTown notes that Vincent Blue was released and Vance Wilson is about to start rehabbing at Lakeland.

Bilfer, is it possible to put the minor league records with the daily squibs?

Trahern seems to be benefitting from having a better defense behind him in AA.

Trahern’s been dominating. of his 246 batters faced this year in Erie, he either struck them out or enduced a ground ball 171 times. That’s 69.5% of the time.
