  1. Lets see Miggy and Victor both hitting iunder .200 for the month and 4 guys all hitting under .237. Gee thats quite a scary lineup today from 3 thru 9
….oops as I type its already 1-0 Tigers in trouble already!

  2. Did you notice? Ian hits one out, Maybin solid liner to the gap that’s caught. Miggy routine grounder to short and Victor fly to left. GIBBY, YOU MUST GIVE THEM “POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT” LESSONS! Jud we just have to depend on the scary part of the lineup, especially 7 through 9.

    1. I think you are right Tony.

At least Brad cleared up the hitting problems in his Free Press article stating that the Tigers hitters just aren’t “lucky”!….thanks Brad for clearing that up!

  3. If we keep this up, Santana will be in real trouble with his pitch count in about the 14th inning.

  4. Three hits yesterday..two today…I can hardly contain my excitement!. I guess the Tigers aren’t lucky on all the crap balls they have hit yesterday and today……

  5. There you go Jud, lettuce walks (anyone else taking pitches?), Ian bunt single then end of rally.

  6. how bad is it when you have a $200 million product and a fan running on the field causes the most exciting thing in two full days……

  7. Nice outing by Santana. Are the Twinkies showing Santana as possible trade material? Maybe we can put together a package with 4 or 5 of our pitchers and Aviles and hope their interim GM is stoned.

  8. !….Nice game Tigs…..1 frickin run again!..Miggys second 2 hit game in a MONTH…Victor has had 1 two hit game in a MONTH….Upton..McCann and everyone else don’t even remember a 2 hit game!

  9. Brad should have let Salty hit last night. I’m sorry but looking at our starting pitching, pen after the top 3, bench (we really don’t have one) and our offense, I’m predicting our season will be effectively over by August 1st. At the end of today, the Tigers will be 7 1/2 games behind the Indians. The Tigers will not be a wild card.

  10. what a waste of a 2 hitter by JV….just between all of us I am sick and tired of watching the hitters stroll to the plate..take good pitches ..then hack at anything that comes up there with 2 strikes on them..then either jog to first or jog half way on flyballs, then WALK back to..the dugout…coaches this is on you as much as the lazy roster…Lettuce, Kinsler and Aviles played hard today..ran hard..everyone else just walks thru the motions…sad really!…
..sell at the deadline except who would by any of this. No pitching …No hitting….No coaching
