PREGAME: Gil Meche, who the Tigers haven’t seen since May, will take on Armando Galarraga. Galarraga will try to keep that ERA in the low 3’s and make a run at ROY honors. Meche will try to hold the Tigers down yet again.

Gustav is the name of the hurricane that’s supposed to hit Louisiana sometime tomorrow.
Gotcha…I knew there may be a hurricane but didn’t know its name. I actually thought that you might be from a foreign country called Gustavia that i ve never heard of ..lol
The game is getting interesting too.
I returned from Kroger just in time to see Cabrera break the tie with a double. The game is now 4-2, but this does not distract from my displeasure at the grocery store not having any Faygo.

haha Jim …ya Dave BW, Leyland was ejected when (I believe Cabrera -sorry listening to music and only half watching the game- slid into 3rd and was called out) Jimmy thought he was safe and blew a gasket.

Rodney finally strikes out Buck, and Tigers win! The season series is once again tied. I think. If Seattle can keep Cleveland down for one more inning we will be back in third place, and all will be right with the world.

giving the third base ump some lip when inge slid in after polanco’s bunt and was called out. we were sitting slightly back and up from 3rd, great view. crowd went nuts, good times.
