I don’t think it’s the Angels; I think it’s the West Coast. Angels, A’s, Mariners, Interleague games with the Dodgers and Giants, it never works out well. The Tigers have the Angels at home, and with their ace on the mound, and with a series sweep in their luggage. And the Angels are 54-73. And…they just scored in the top of the first. Hmm.

And…Cy Nolasco shows up.
Of the 5-19 since 2013 I have been at about 11 of them They go exactly like this one so far. Tigers do basically nothing..swing swing swing out of the zone. Or like Miggy..Kinsler..McGeey have done, just lazy swings. Theres a reason Nolasco is 4-11

We were hand wringing about beating the Angels and have been missing the great game JV has pitched.
This situation is why you need to use KRod once in awhile for 4 outs…even if this doesn’t work in the 9th…Ausmus +1
If K-Rod gets the save he earned it in the 8th.

Aybar..great turn on the DP…even though the AL Central might all win today…this is a big win for various reasons…JV….big time…KRod should get 2 saves, your right Tony the ball game was the 8th.
