Game 2016.99: Tigers at White Sox

The last game of this oh-so-entertaining series gives Anibal Sanchez a chance to convince us that his last outing was not a mirage, against the tough Jose Quintana. Whenever yesterday’s game finishes. The Tigers should definitely have an advantage when it comes bullpen time.

Yesterday’s game featured another big hole in the middle of the batting order (but hey, that one’s not over yet!). Today they get another good chance: Cabrera is hitting over .370 against Quintana, and Victor (who may have been the only guy in the park sad not to see Sale) is hitting .424 against him.

Today’s Let’s Play Two! Lineup:

  1. Kinsler, 2B
  2. Iglesias, SS
  3. Cabrera, 1B
  4. V Martinez, DH
  5. Castellanos, 3B
  6. Upton, LF
  7. Aviles, RF
  8. McCann, C
  9. Romine, CF

When it rain, it pours. Maybin out for this game, hopefully just one. Looking at the lineup we have 3 stop any rally guys in he lineup and that’s not counting Miggy.

Suddenly this series seems far less amusing.

Yes, and we go to Boston next. The Twinkies have beaten them twice this week and we will have JV and Fulmer going. Hope springs eternal.

Miggy and the boys are just upset beause all that rain delay time cut into their clubbing time last night. So they are taking today off.

Must be good to be a Sox fan. I’ll say it now, I wouldn’t go with Rondon to pitch the 9th.

What’s better than a walk off win? Two in the same day!

Our blowpen beats theirs and gives Robertson the win after giving up 3 homers in one inning!

The Big $$$ hitters who usually go 3/14 in most of the July games went 3/15 with 1 rbi game 1……and 3/15 with 0 rbi game two….

..Kins (8)….Miggy (4)…Vict (13)…Upton.(6)..RBI..all month of July, 20 games so far….nice gig for about $20+ mil

I knew the Tigers were doomed when I was wrong about the uniforms.
