Marte gets 3 hits yesterday including a dinger, two of those hits against RH pitchers. So Capt Smarty burries him back on the bench so we can watch daddys boy waste 15-18 minutes of the game floundering in the batters box.
Tomorrow…don’t watch either..Jimenez will throw 25-50 pitches out of the strikezone that the Tigers will flail at…6-2 O’s.Jimenez NEVER throws more than 25 strikes in a game…..

Victor back to being the worst DH in baseball. A true rally killer.
My opinions:
Anthony Gose is getting tiresome. It’s OK to be in a slump but why aren’t you trying to get on using your biggest asset, your speed. Are you capable of at least attempting a bunt? How about taking a pitch here and there? If all else fails, take one for the team!
Why is Alex Avila playing?
Is it time to rest Victor for a day or two to clear his head? Maybe Alex can DH.
Hope JD is OK but they should probably rest him tomorrow anyway.
Finally, lets not forget who hired Asmus!
The only thing left this year is who will get to .099 for the second half first Victor or Avila………..hey Victor how about just making your 4 outs a game insread of 5….oh ya…thanks for nothing this month!
