Game 2015.72: Tigers at Indians

Well I guess the odd 12 noon start time snuck up on us here. So far we have missed Buck Farmer giving up a few runs and Romine being stranded on 3rd with nobody out. Can we start over?

Today Cabrera gets the rare rest; Ty Romine will be filling in at first.

This afternoon’s lineup:

  1. Rajai Davis, CF
  2. Ian Kinsler, 2B
  3. Victor Martinez, DH
  4. Yoenes Cespedes, LF
  5. JD Martinez, RF
  6. Nick Castellanos, 3B
  7. Andrew Romine, 1B
  8. Bryan Holaday, C
  9. Jose Iglesias, SS

Gorzellany with the 4-pitch walk with bases loaded. Pack your bags for Toledo.

Farmer was ok..not great, but ok…the gas can gang has taken over now so anything could happen, usually bad!

I mentioned it yesterday. Watch Kinsler’s facial expressions when going to bat and at bat. His body language looks very negative, self-defeating, like he’s given up. Whatever “mean-ness” and determination he had before, seems completely gone. Maybe I’m imagining it.

We’re finally free of Krol; Tom G has got to be the next Cupcake-hurling arm to go.

I love how Al Al gives up 2.(..Mario mentions Al had ONLY let 8 inherited runners score..)…WHAT!!!!…then someone else cleans up his mess and Gas Can lowers that ERA again!!!…

I vaguely recall mentioning that Kinsler had issues and had wore out his welcomes in the Rangers organization, but we were all glad to see Fielder go. Would we want a redo on that swap?

Now? —–definitely yes! Last 2 seasons, terrible ’13 with us, and even worse ’14 with Texas (highlight of his season being probably SI body issue feature), none of us prob cared if we’d ever heard of Fielder. I must say, I’m totally surprised at his bounce-back this year, right up there battling with old buddy Miggy, for batting lead.

He was playing with psersonal issues and a bad neck (I believe). He’s been great after his surgery.

Farmer sent down, Rondon called up… don’t know if Rondon is the answer, but DET’s bullpen has been pretty bad over the past month
