David Price vs. Alex Cobb
GREAT game last night. There’s something to be said for dinosaurs and pitchers written off as perpetual #5 starters. Not only did Ricky P toss his third complete game shutout of 2014 (a feat that has never been accomplished before in baseball’s 900-year history), but he was also part of a couple nicely turned plays where he covered 1B, and almost part of what was almost a double play except for his part. And don’t forget Rajai Davis, Center Fielder of the Future.
Good times. I can see the Kansas City whatever-they’re-calleds in the rearview mirror already.

I am on the road to Grand Rapids to do a couple car shows, went up thru Yellowstone today..listened to the 11th tues and the Grand Salami last night….better to be lucky sometimes…lets keep winning and see what happens….

Watched this game till I had to go to the Periodontist… that was more fun than watching the Tigers today

The Tigers lead MLB in runners left standing on 3B. I know this intuitively.

But on the positive side, let’s not forget that Torii Hunter reduced a HR to one of Price’s 23 consecutive outs. I know Price won’t.
Today is a perfect example if why Scherzer didn’t sign long term and Price won’t…
You give up 1 run you could just as well lose and heaven forbid you give up 2 the best you can do is get a no decision….
