Justin Verlander showed a lot yesterday after giving up 3 runs in the first, aided by some glove work by The Lettuce and Mikie Mahtook, who turned a 427 foot fly ball into an out.
Today we have Victor back, batting 6th.

+1 He’s come in several times and saved our pen (whether they deserve it or not) in some longer outings.
They don’t call him WARwick Saupold for no reason. Or maybe they do.
Norris either has so much stuff the ball doesn’t go where it is supposed to …or he just can’t throw it where he is supposed to…….I am not sure which….its nor like he nibbles at the corners. The ball just doesn’t go to the right spots!
