Fulmer will continue to pitch great , but Ventura is the kind of pitcher that completely ties the Tiger hitters up…he is kind of all over the place and the Tigers will swing at everything he throws…(prediction..Upton won’t even foul a pitch off tonight during his Golden Sombrero night!).

Congratulations to Michael Fulmer on Breaking John Hillers scoreless streak. We should be enjoying Fulmers work for many years to come!

How often do you think you trade one of the best hitters in baseball for one of the best pitching prospects in the minor leagues and it actually works out for you…..DD did good on this one to add to his legacy!

should be 1-1… the ball makes it to the backstop, any runner* should go/score

And what bothers me the most is he had about a 2 foot lead off because he never ever ever puts out more effort than is absolutely requirred. Great hitter….but never busts his behind!…

To me it looked like that hit by Hosmer could have been a DP if we had played a normal infield. Help me, I missed the replay.

Yes..they had a semi shift on..Iggy very close to 2B…..pitch itself was way outside to LH hitting Hosmer

Tigers have exactly one chance to score this game..soon as Martinez got to second and no one out pinch run….1-1….Ausmus -1
…you bring Lowe in for Greene.. why??? Ausmus -2
..the fact that Ausmus had decisions to make..-3…Brad doing what he does best!

The evidence is ample and clear: Ausmus is over head and learning on the job. Bad hire from day one.

Great 0-2 waste pitch. I feel very Lowe now. Oh well still good to watch Perry Mason.

Good news is Fulmer. It took a great game by Ventura to beat him. See, we really need that 13th pitcher to keep games like this close.

Shields/CWS got pounded again today – 7 hits, 3BB’s, 8 ER in 1 2/3 innings… glad DET didn’t try to trade for him
