To me the most frustrating thing about the Tigers isn’t the bullpen…Isn’t Asmus(although close)…it isn’t defense. It is exactly whats happening today, which happens very very often. 16 runners on base in 5 innings and only 4 runs. This happens game after game. Year after year. So we have a game today in what should be a blowout!

Lobster got thru 2 innings easily because he didn’t throw any strikes and the Tigers will swing. This inning he throws in the strike zone..gets hammered!

Jud is right about the wasted opportunities, just like last year. Over the long run it costs us many wins.

J-Up has had quite a day. He’ll probably be rested tomorrow. Look what resting Casty has done for him.

Sanchez another decent start. Wilson and VerHagen get it done.
