Inge named Marvin Miller man of the year. The award is voted on by the players and is awarded to the player whose on-field and off-field performances most inspire others to “higher levels of achievement.” I’ll leave that one open for you guys?
This did not bode well for CG last year, maybe a trade is in the works?
Good stuff, though I’d prefer a gold glove or silver slugger award.

An OBP above .315 would be OK.
With a 11M+ pricetag, the soon to be 34 Inge probably isn’t tradeable unless you wish to eat a sizable portion of it. Stuck again, IMO.
He can’t be traded because of the 10/5 rule. He’s got 10 years in MLB and five with the same team.
I think he can be traded, but it’s just that he has the right to block the trade.
You’re right. He would have to give his consent. Fat chance!
