Seeing as this is the first telecast of the season, I thought it was deserving of a game thread. Many (like myself) will be at work, but if you’re lucky you might find yourself at a bar celebrating St. Patrick’s day. In that case enjoy you can enjoy Kenny Rogers taking on Johnny Cueto from Sarasota.

Mario and Rod make me hope and pray that I’ll get the visiting teams announcers on MLB Extra Innings. Those guys suck.
Looked to me like Hollimon broke his wrist or a bone in his forearm. It was his left (glove) wrist.
Hope not though.
I watched the entire game today, and a few things stood out to me. For one, Todd Jones is terrible right now. We could replace him with Jim Leyland and not think the worse. Secondly, Miguel looked pretty damn good at 3rd. Nice plays, perfect strong throws. I’m no longer worried about his defense. I know it was only one game, but he looked fit, confident, and plenty able on some hard hit ground balls down the line. It’s not Inge D, but it looks better than advertised.
