Organizational Tree

Below is an idea inspired by Geoff Young at Ducksnorts. It is a kind of family tree of how the current 40 man roster came to be. I’ll be tweaking the format, and adding player links as well. In the meantime, the method of acquistion is indicated in parentheses for each player. If you see players listed below another player, those were the players surrendered in a trade (like Jeff Weaver being traded for Jeremy Bonderman).

This is based on the 40 man roster as of 11/13/2009.
