  1. Nice win… I like Buck Farmer, great baseball name, I am pulling for him. I know its early but the Candyman appears to be the real deal!
Kinsler and Casty knock in 5…thats a months worth of RBI.

    1. I didn’t really get much of a sense of how Casty would be in RF. But does anyone here think we get that triple play with Casty at 3rd?

  2. As soon as it happened I thought.. Double into the corner.. Two runs in, runners on second and third with Casty there…

  3. That triple play was truly a season highlight.* Wow. Everyone was great, but Kinsler was WOW. Isn’t happening without that turnaround. I guess I have to write Kinsler and Castellanos both back into my imaginary 2018 script.

Core: McCann, Iglesias, Kinsler, Mahtook, (gritting teeth) Castellanos, Fulmer, Greene
Maybe not core but obvious keepers: Candelario, Jones, Hicks, Machado
Get rid of: Cabrera, Martinez, Zimmermann (that last could cost us Fulmer), Sanchez, Rondon and various pitching deadwood, Ausmus & Co.
Everyone else: Yeah, maybe, whatever, meh

*Possible outcomes with Casty at 3B there:
“Infield single” as ball is deflected into foul territory or left field, bases loaded with none out
Force at out at 3B, throwing error, run scores, runner at 2B with one out
Clean two-run double, runner at 2B with none out

Hey Tony, I hope you were/are able to get out of de Florida.
