Game 2017.67: Rays at Tigers

Last night’s game was a rarity this season: good pitching, lots of hitting, and stellar defense, especially in the 5th inning. Today Michael Fulmer returns from a one-start break.

There has been a Jim Adduci sighting: he was taking batting practice with the Tigers today.

Victor has been released from the hospital and is spending a week resting at home.

Today’s Lineup:

  1. Ian Kinsler, 2B
  2. Alex Avila, C
  3. Miguel Cabrera, 1B
  4. JD Martinez, DH
  5. Justin Upton, LF
  6. Alex Presley, CF
  7. Andrew Romine, 3B
  8. Mikie Mahtook, RF
  9. Jose Iglesias, SS

Pitching: Michael Fulmer vs Chris Archer

  1. Win one lose one win one lose one looks like 81-81 to me in a very winable AL Central. Brad will get a raise and a new contract for basically doing nothing…

  2. Here we are again. Teams in the Central actually winning puts our Pussycats back in the one game out of last place lottery.

And a note to Fullmer. You gotta throw shutouts around here buddy…all these 1 and 2 run games you keep pitching are losses……

  3. Happy Fathers Day..guys enjoy your Day. You have earned it!.whether you’ve had kids or not. Maybe Buck can get us a series win today!….
