  1. OK Brad, make sure you leave him in until the game’s out of reach. Got to save the 20 person pen.

  2. Well we now can answer Jud’s question about which Sanchez: Sanchez #1, relieved in the 4th by Sanchez #2.

  3. Why is Jack Morris my favorite color guy? Listen to him, he’s not afraid to say things that aren’t complimentary to the Tigers. Last night he exposed how Salty killed the potential 2 out rally by swinging at the first 2 pitches out of the zone. Tonight he got on McCann for his going for obvious pitches that are not strikes

  4. Everyday Ian sez “I ain’t at the bottom of my hitting cycle!” So does Maybin!

  5. Poor Rick P losses 1-0 to the O’s. He’s still my Cy Young winner if you discount Gibson from the Twinkies.

  6. K-Rod does it without any drama tonight. Pen was great. I hope Brad has Pelfrey on a short leash tomorrow.

until Mr Cabrera set the record straight, it appears ‘what we had here is a failure to …communicate’

apparently i need to “get my mind right” and jump on that DET train headed straight for the playoffs – next stop CLE!

“staying positive” is the message that has sustained Cubs fans…and it appears that strategy may finally come to fruition… after only 108 years

  8. When Brad can learn to manufacture runs and handle a pitching staff,he might be an OK manager.Pelfrey should not be sent to the minors, he should be sent home.

    1. The real mystery to me was why was Brad, with no experience at all, was allowed to manage a decent contending team (when they signed him). I didn’t get it when they signed him although I understood why he was kept this year. At the end of last year there were no really great candidates for manager available. Also, how the team would be put together was an unknown. I think Al Avila does have a plan but as they say the fog of war invalidates most plans. The sad part is than in three years Brad has not shown that he has learned anything. I think replacing him should be a priority but it has to be tempered by the reality of who’s available and the kind of team Avila can put together for 2017.
