The West Coast jinx? Doesn’t apply in the D.

Fulmer is on the mound, the best rookie pitcher ever without a nickname.

Today’s Making the Tribe Sweat Lineup:

  1. I know we all lose our cool every once in a while but you can’t get yourself thrown out over a ball/strike call.

  2. McCann had his day for the year now every at bat just throw his bat at the ball, or misses it!.back to all year!
West Coast.. .swing..swing…swing.swing..doesn’t matter where just swing!..did Chacon throw a strike that whole inning?

  3. Everitts strikezone is a joke!….but you can’t get tossed over it if you are a player, agree with Tony…Now the Tigers , who are horrible with the strikzone in the first place are fighting the umpire instead of the Angels

    1. Yes Jud on most days the Tigers are swinging at the same pitches they are complaining about.

  4. Goodie, Gene is in charge. The Tigers need to get it together. No matter how bad the ump may be, you have to keep your cool. Texas is thumping the Indians and it would be a shame if we failed to take advantage because we are having a hissy fit.

  5. Let’s hope Mr. Mojo hasn’t been ejected from the Tiger dugout after that miracle DP. Like Kevin sez, plenty of game left.

  6. The Angel curse works in many strange ways..and here is one of them. 1 run in the first then basically do nothing except the enegry used to bitch about the zone…..only our Tigers…

  7. 6-20….1-5 against the worst team in the AL West…………………
The only team worse than the Tigers today …were the Lions!

  8. Tigers close to within 3 1/2 games of Cleveland and tie for the wild card! No it’s not true but it might have been if they had not spent all their energy whining about the home plate umpire. Do you realize that this total lack of discipline by the Tigers could be another turn around point in the season?

  9. The Tigers swung at 3 times the number of bad pitches compared to what the umpire called wrong. They do this constantly…In the end this lack of discipline plus the inability of the “manager of the year” to correct it, will be their downfall. The Tiger lack of discipline let 3 Crappy pitchers beat them today.
