  1. Brad and Big Al were impressed, they said in the Free Press this morning at how well Lowe pitched the 9th…I watch every game and the thing I noticed was at 94 mph the ball flys out of the yard a bit faster than when he pitches 92mph…..and thats a “physics fact”…

    1. Jud, you must remember he got 3 outs in a row. I don’t think he’s done that in a while. You or I can go out and perhaps survive an inning with a 10-0 lead. I do hope Mark gets it back to how he was last year because he would be a great addition to the pen.

    1. Maybe that 19 inning marathon yesterday put too much strain on their pen. Hopefully the Jays will put more stress on them tomorrow so they are wasted for Monday. Also, I saw Rajai hit for the cycle and is having a heck of a year. I was never comfortable letting him go and the more I saw of Anthony Gose, the unhappier I was. Maybin has been a blessing.

      1. The strange thng to me Tony about the Gose situation is he was fine in the Davis /Gose platoon…but as soon as Davis was let go…(why I still don’t understand).but Gose looked like he wanted nothng to do with playing everyday. Right from opening day…..strange!

      2. They used today’s starting pitcher for 5 innings of relief last night, and started today’s game with the bullpen. Not many managers would have done that, but I have a feeling the players loved it. Keep the streak going! The Jays had infielders pitching their last two innings.

  2. Great job!!!…3-0 on the trip…unfortunately there is still a real good chance of a 4-7 road trip…but lets enjoy this while its happening….and the Indians actually on a one game losing streak!!!!..fire Francona!
