Game 2012.101: Tigers at Blue Jays

53-47, 2nd place, 1.5 games back.

Well, that game last night sucked. The Tigers were never really in it, and have now fallen so far out of first place, that it will take at least 2 games to climb back into the top spot.

Opposing Anibal Sanchez is the confusingly double last named Henderson Alvarez.

Sorry there’s not more, start time really snuck up on me.

1. Jackson, CF
2. Berry, LF
3. Cabrera, 3B
4. Fielder, 1B
5. Young, DH
6. Boesch, RF
7. Peralta, SS
8. Avila, C
9. Infante, 2B

  1. How’s everyone holding up with the 3/4 game slide? No one’s jumping off, are they?

  2. The Tigers aren’t going anywhere unless that start playing well on the road again. This is awful. Complete power outage…

  3. Wow, what a genius idea to pinch hit Raburn for Berry. Killed about all chances we had for a late comeback.

  4. Tigers have hit into 7 double plays in five games of this road trip. That hurts run production.

  5. Peralta has quit, bench him. Rayburn pinch hit, really?! Delman is no Dimytri. Beosch is overrated. Infante was an unload. Sanchez no threat. Don’t get excited, beyond the big dogs we SUCK.

  6. Inconsistency rules… DET sweeps CWS and are humbled in CLE, then TOR. Today MIN beating CLE10-1 tonight (in the 6th) after MIN beating CLE 11-0 yesterday… CLE getst two big wins against DET, then goes to MN to get pounded and outscored 21-1 against last place MIN… go figure? Especially in the AL Central

  7. JL announced both Raburn and Laird will be starting on Sunday. Avila 0 for 6, and Berry 2 for 7 in the series…assuming Raburn will be in LF
