What would a Tigers-Rangers series be without a rainout?
Given an extra day to think about it, Leyland has decided to change the original lineup and go with the Raburn-Inge-Laird power lineup.
This probably has a little to do with what Laird does behind the plate: Laird is turning into Rick Porcello’s personal catcher, having caught all of his starts in 2012.
Here is today’s revised lineup. Andy Dirks is day-to-day, but has been ruled out for today.

Something has got to be figured out at 2B. This three man rotation with Raburn, Inge and Santiago is an absolute disaster…

It would be nice to see A-Jax develop into an offensive machine like Grandy.
Especially since the Sherzer and Schlereth portion of the trade is not looking so hot now.

Get rid of the first inning and we have a game
looking on the bright-side, TX will be tired out from all the base running by the time they face JV tonight… and the other positive thing about today’s (or any) game is that the Tigers remain in the AL Central.
whatever questions were answered in Porcello’s first two starts, are once again unanswered… 10 hits, 9 R, 8 ER in one inning?!?! …brutal… and somewhat humbling.
