Toledo 7, Charlotte 10 (White Sox)

The Mud Hens blew a 7-1 lead after giving up 3 runs in the 6th and 6 in the 8th. In a starting role, Duane Below (LHP) gave up 4 ER over 6 IP. Below also struck out 6.

Robbie Weinhardt took the loss and allowed 4 ER over 1 inning of relief.

Scott Thorman (LF) and Ben Guez (RF) each homered.  Danny Worth went 2-4 with a double and 2 runs scored. Timo Perez (DH) went 2-5 with a run scored, a double, and 2 RBI. In fact, every Mud Hen except St. Pierre and Strieby recorded a hit.

Lakeland 3, Jupiter 6 (Marlins)

This game remained tied at 3 from the 3rd inning to the 11th when Jupiter added 3 and held the lead for the win.

Victor Larex (RHP) received no decision: 5 IP, 11 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K. Samuels and Little combined to throw 5 scoreless innings.  Kenny Faulk took the loss after giving up 3 runs (2 earned) in the top of the 11th.

Garcia and Waytt each went 2-4 with a run scored. Daniel Fields (CF) and Corey Jones (2B) had the only RBIs of the night with 2 and 1, respectively.

West Michigan 6, Bowling Green 5 (Rays)

Antonio Cruz (LHP) was the winning pitcher after starting for the ‘caps: 6 IP, 6 H, 4 R (3 earned), 4 BB, 3 K. Torrealba and Bruce Rondon (RHP) combined to close it out. Rondon recorded his 5th save of the year.

Luis Castillo (CF) led the way offensively: 2-5 with an RBI and 2 runs scored. Billy Nowlin (DH) went 1-4 with a HR and RBI. Machado and Robbins each added an RBI, Brantly drove in 2.
