Game 2010.038: Red Sox at Tigers

Armando Galarraga joins the Tigers rotation, and for more than just a day. He’ll take on John Lackey in the rubber game of the series. With a bullpen that is once again thin after two poor starting performances and 3 extra innings, 6 innings from Galarraga would be immensely helpful.

The Tigers send out a different kind of lineup with Austin Jackson getting his second day off this season.

  1. Damon, LF
  2. Santiago, SS
  3. Ordonez, DH
  4. Cabrera, 1B
  5. Boesch, RF
  6. Inge, 3B
  7. Kelly, CF
  8. Avila, C
  9. Worth, 2B

  1. A four pitch leadoff walk by AG………could it be a quick trip back to Toledo.

  2. Today’s fun fact: Dontrelle Willis’s career OPS is only 10% lower than Brandon Inge’s and is almost identical to Adam Everett’s.

  3. well the Battlestar for Scherzer has paid off already 4 innings only 1 run…… plus we are all Battlestar fans!

  4. thanks. I’m at the game and was really surprised when bondo came out of the pen

  5. Just think of the beauty starting rotation we would have……..JV & RP of course……..a retuned Scherzer better than ever……..Galarraga keeping it going and improving on today’s performance………and some good outings by Bono/D-Train………..puts a big smile on my face.

  6. Another very nice home series against one of the better teams. Minnesota check…New York check….Boston check. Who’s Next?
