If he was a lefty he'd be the dream center for the Tigers. His speed is amazing and he can grow into his body. Considering what EJ accomplished in the first 80 games, his upside is right up there with whatever you project Scherzer to become and EJ's downside is considerably higher than Scherzer's. That makes Scherzer a higher risk. I'm ok with taking risks, but only if we're compensated appropriately. I don't want to see guys like Curtis and EJ moved unless we get someone who is/will be able to fill their shoes <em>plus</em> someone to fill at least one of our gaping holes.
