  1. Nice to see Zumaya throwing well, looks like he’ll be back in no time.

The guy I like to keep an eye on is Cale Iorg, since he’s probably our best middle infield prospect. But wow is he off to a horrendous start, hitting a robust 152/167/196 with 18 striekouts and no walks in 46 AB. I know it’s early, but that is not good to see.

  2. Keep an eye on Avila too. If Trainor continues being a Ofer at the plate and anything happens to Laird, the Tigers may need an upgrade.

  3. Danny Worth looks the better of the two after their respective starts this year. Worth is better with the glove, too.

Treanor is certainly NOT a starter and I wonder if he isn’t done as a backup. I mean, really, how is he an upgrade over Sardinha? I expect Ryan or Avila may be moved to Detroit if Matt T. can’t put something together over the first couple months.

  4. @Brenden

From Jason Beck’s twitter, yesterday – “Bonderman threw a sim game yesterday. Leyland said Bondo was not happy with his velocity, not where he wants it to be yet.”

  5. Man…we need Bondo healthy, or Willis to make a miracle comeback. Miner just isn’t going to get the job done.
