I think baseball analysts, ex-Major Leaguers, have a shelf life and Joe is well passed his. Now, I'm old enough to remember him as a player and he was great. He's going to drive Hawk nuts with his sometimes critical analysis of Sox players and/or plays, so that alone makes this a worthwhile venture. It's also going to infuriate Cubs fans that he's doing Sox games, the crosstown matchup should be interesting. You are absolutely right, tho, Sox fans deserve Hawk and DJ. They really do...
