  1. Armando’s wild pitch scores Dejesus. 1-0. Noticeably, the wild pitch was to our nemesis, Billy Butler.

  2. Gilgameche is cruising along, he may not have even allowed a baserunner yet (3rd inning)

  3. To the bitter end huh. The Gustav news is distracting me from the game. Hey, but the Tigers are keeping it close.. 1-0 top of the 5th, so far so good 😉 errr the Royals have the run..didn’t really make that clear

  4. Gustav is the name of the hurricane that’s supposed to hit Louisiana sometime tomorrow.

  5. Gotcha…I knew there may be a hurricane but didn’t know its name. I actually thought that you might be from a foreign country called Gustavia that i ve never heard of ..lol

  6. I returned from Kroger just in time to see Cabrera break the tie with a double. The game is now 4-2, but this does not distract from my displeasure at the grocery store not having any Faygo.

  7. haha Jim …ya Dave BW, Leyland was ejected when (I believe Cabrera -sorry listening to music and only half watching the game- slid into 3rd and was called out) Jimmy thought he was safe and blew a gasket.

  8. Superstar closer Fernando Rodney is in. He strikes out the first batter. His posture is absolutely atrocious, however.

  9. Chris: Maybe. I am about to go outside to clean up after my dog for the week, after all.

  10. Callaspo is unstoppable. He’s been on base four times today. Doesn’t he know we already have one impossible out on KC already?

  11. Rodney finally strikes out Buck, and Tigers win! The season series is once again tied. I think. If Seattle can keep Cleveland down for one more inning we will be back in third place, and all will be right with the world.

  12. I don’t know much about Gustavia, but I have read that the Gustavi can shoot a duck like nobody’s business…

  13. cib: I live in Ann Arbor, and all I can find here on a regular basis is Faygo orange. I want my rock n’ rye, damn it!

  14. “Jim Leyland was apparently ejected at some point this inning”

giving the third base ump some lip when inge slid in after polanco’s bunt and was called out. we were sitting slightly back and up from 3rd, great view. crowd went nuts, good times.

just read an article that said skipper wasn’t arguing safe/out, but transfer of ball.

  15. You are correct Coleman. In fact, this Gustavi is on her way out the door to put in another long day of duck hunting. I’ll tell ya the results later 😉
