But in '04-'05 he was pretty effective against them as well. Keeping the OPS against in the low .600's is hardly awful. Maybe all of the innings he piled up in '04-'06 (averaging 200) took their toll. I don't effing know. He doesn't walk an alarming number of guys for one. So that's a positive, though I'd like to see more K's coming out of the 'pen than what he can offer. To me it seems his biggest pratfall is giving up the big inning, and maybe by spreading out his innings to one or two at a time you avoid the big one.
