my predictions:

Mike Hollimon, while wearing high socks, will get his first major league RBI.

Gil will hit another opposite field blast, this time with runners on base.

Grandy will make a spectacular catch, and steal a base, which will boost his confidence and he’ll win the game with an RBI triple.

Guillen will make a spectacular defensive move that makes us think less about Inge.

Inge will catch.

The Tigers always seem to have trouble with the sinkerballers. Roy Halladay comes to mind as a guy who they just can’t hit. Fausto Carmona the Starter being another (Fausto the Closer was a trainwreck. Worse than a trainwreck, actually. More like an airshow disaster). Hopefully Derek Lowe will nod out in the 4th inning…

He’s amazing but have you confirmed that he’s gonna be at Copa? He does not always travel, esp. far. I love staying up late and watching Dodgers games on the package, Scully is awewome, and I never cared much for him when he was a National broadcaster.

Does Vin Scully still do the entire game himself, no color commentator? That was always the most impressive thing about him.

We go from those hated Chisox announcers to the best in the game, Vin Scully. His call of Gibson’s homer in the 88′ WS was terrific, but Don Drysdale on the radio side was classic; describing every little detail from the time Kirk left the dugout to the time he hit the home run. You had the feeling something big was going to happen. I think Drysdale was psychic.

Sean, I like the quad-magglio lineup best of all, but I was trying to be reasonable about my guess. Given’s Leyland’s schizophrenia, one could argue your lineup is at least as likely.
