I don't think that's the case with this team(although some of them do lack fundamentals, but that's another story for another day) I wonder how many of those 0-6 teams had the #2 highest payroll. Probably not many, if any. Obviously the streak shouldn't be taken lightly as every loss decreases your chances. But the season isn't over. Anything can happen in the playoffs, which is only three series. I try not to read too much into these "no 0-5 team has ever" or "no 0-6 team has ever" stuff. We have a lot of problems that we need to fix. If the team doesn't improve, we'll finish with a terrible record, but if it does, we'll be able to make up this deficit, which isn't that big in the scope of a baseball season.
