Avila, four '68 Tigers, along with some others ... pretty much everyone I'd wanna see! the q&a sessions were laid back too, really easy to ask something if you wanted. At least he beat Concepcion by a few votes. I do not get the Jim Rice bandwagon. He was feared, yes. Lots of sluggers were feared. He was a lousy OF, he has some incredible off the chart GIDP numbers, and as good as he was at his peak his career was short. Even in '78 when he put up the big numbers his SLG was .600. Very good but not great. He hit like Frank Robinson at Fenway and like Jeff Conine everywhere else.
