@tiff: they nearly always schedule a day off after Opening day. As cib says, a blizzard is a high probability that early in the year.

This year the 4 gamers look to be NY, Balt and TB b/c there are only 4 West teams you play an extra series against two at home and an extrat 2 on the road. Also the home portion of the last month looks to be not too bad. Also a reminder to everyone out there, the Twins look to have a rotation of 1) Santana 2) Liriano 3) Garza 4) Baker 5) Silva/Bonser/Slowey Also to all of you esp. going to the games, don't give up just yet, there are still 9 games and if you've ever studied baseball history you know improbable comebacks are not uncommon. And hopefully the Yanks have problems with Halladay, Burnett, McGowan, Marcum, Hammel and Kazmir. or the Sox/Indians completely fall apart, although the former is much more likely. Remember this year they played April 2 which was reasonable, then the 4th was ridiculous, snowing, and the 5th was called off (the postponed Toronto game that was played last Monday).
