It's been almost eight years since the stadium closed, and in that time, there has been no serious effort to remodel or redevelop the property. There was certainly potential for much of Tiger Stadium to be preserved and for what remained to be integrated into dowtown area. Sooooo much better than Nemo's heat lamp paper-plate sandwiches. Regardless, its part of the fun of a Tiger game to head down to the "old" haunts before a game in the "new" park, especially for those of us outstate.
