I can see the logic in tearing down Tiger Stadium but the fact that the whole situation has come to this shows a real failure of leadership on the part of the Detroit Tigers and the City of Detroit, among others. It's been almost eight years since the stadium closed, and in that time, there has been no serious effort to remodel or redevelop the property. There was certainly potential for much of Tiger Stadium to be preserved and for what remained to be integrated into dowtown area.

Bilfer, Nemo's is great and the crowd is always cool, but I'm with you on Casey's...if you get there early enough, the burgers are amazing. Sooooo much better than Nemo's heat lamp paper-plate sandwiches.
Regardless, its part of the fun of a Tiger game to head down to the "old" haunts before a game in the "new" park, especially for those of us outstate.
