He's ranked 4th in the NL defensively and has an average BA. While I don't think he worth the millions he's paid he seems to solid defensively. If they could get rid of Monroe and a few other things put into this package, then I think it's OK. We pay CMO almost 5 million and who's gonna take him, but hopefully, the Pirates. As far as I've read, almost every player in baseball is put on waivers in August just to mask those that the team is actually trying to trade. There's no risk to this because you can pull a player back if he's claimed. Kovacevic says talks with the Tigers about Wilson are still ongoing. Bucco Blog had heard that Jair Jurrjens and Brent Clevlen were involved also.
