But I agree with you in principle. No reason to sign him unless half of the deal is incentive based.</description>

		<description>Give KR 2.5m base salary with tons of incentives based on starts made. David Wells has had these before. If he makes 12 starts he makes another 1.25 and every 5 starts after that he makes another 1.25. If he makes 32 starts, he makes 8.75m, more than this year.</description>

		<description>I&#039;m pretty mixed on bringing Kenny back. There&#039;s no guarantee he can be a league average pitcher after essentially an entire year off. Then again, I don&#039;t think Jair Jurrjens is ready to be a full time starter out of the gate next year. This offseason should be active  and interesting for Detroit, though.</description>
