His home stats indicate that the fans, while having every right to boo, actually hurt his performance. And he does have quite a few fans actually. And I would be one of them. The Indians offense is still showing little sign of waking up from its second half slumber, but the team's pitching has been solid lately. The good news for the Tigers is that they got good starts from their starters two nights in a row, so their bullpen can go into New York rested and ready to go. The bad news is obviously that flu bug, and Jim Leyland has to hope that his lineup can get healthy and return in short order, because lately it seems that the only way to beat the Yankees is by outslugging them.
