(2) I'm not sure they'd give up any of their back end of the pen, so most likely, since they don't seem to value Murton at all (.297/.364/.444 in his only full season's worth of AB's in 06) I'd suspect he'd be on the move. I would not mind Murton at all in LF next year everyday after letting Monroe walk. Get younger (just 25) and I think he's got the potential for a .300/.375/.450 line. I'd take it.
