Okay, I just read at the Detroit News that chairs will be sold in pairs for $247. Here is a link to the article. The price of chairs is at the bottom. Better start saving your pennies. Tiger Stadium otta here by '08

What I meant to say was “Josh – I hope you meant if seats were less than $300.

Also, there is currently a Briggs Stadium chair on eBay going for $311. I just saw it on my Tiger Stadium page in the “memorabilia” listings section for eBay. That is too steep for me for an old wooden folding chair.

Why dont they spend that money and not tear down one of the greatest stadiums ever and preserve it and clean it up instead and play catholic league championships there. This is BS, I love Tiger stadium, all those great players that have played there. Ty Cobb is my favorite of all time and I know he didnt play when it was tiger stadium but it is the same outfield . Just like Detroit to not preserve a historic place but rather get rid of it. Michigan and Trumble will live forever in my heart.
