And yet another Sunday night game

The Tigers are getting now shortage of national attention this year. They’ve now been added to the ESPN Sunday night game for July 1st as well. They’ll be the ESPN game in consecutive weeks with the June 24th game added earlier in the week. One way or another the folks at Bristol are determined to get Joe Morgan to realize that Justin Verlander’s first name isn’t Jason.

This is quite the deterrent to kids runs the bases with games not ending until 11pm.

In another scheduling note, Thursday’s game against the Brewers will be on WJBK Fox 2 instead of FSN.

  1. Agreed. The Tigers Management didn’t put much thought into the time change to accomodate a TV schedule. The letter from the Tigers says you can exchange your tickets for a future date. The problem is future dates are already standing room only. I’m surprised that none of the sports columnists have picked up on the time change that impacts thousands. I have 10 tickets that we were going to usse to take family and friends from out of state to the game. Some of us do work Monday morning.
