Charlotte 8 Toledo 2
Chris Shelton seems to be righting the ship with 2 more hits, including a double, and a walk. Jack Hannahan went 3 for 4. Ron Chiavacci took the loss giving up 6 runs on 7 hits and 5 walks while fanning 4.

Akron 4 Erie 0
Only 4 hits for Erie tonight, and Clete Thomas had 2 of them. Andres Torres and Jeff Larish each walked twice. Jair Jurrjens apparently hasn’t had his pinpoint command working. He allowed 9 hits in 6 innings, but more troubling were the 4 walks.

Dunedin 10 Lakeland 2 suspended in 6th inning due to power
Lakeland clearly didn’t have power mustering only 2 doubles through 5 innings (one each for Wilkin Ramirez and Ryan Roberson). Burke Badenhop allowed 6 runs, 3 earned, in 3 innings. Things didn’t get better for Alredo Figaro making his first Lakeland appearance. He allowed 4 runs in 2 2/3 innings on 5 hits and 3 walks.

West Michigan Quad Cities
Max De Leon had a double and 2 singles. Gorkys Hernandez had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Chris Cody allowed 2 runs, 1 earned, over 6 innings on 7 hits, 3 walks, and 2 strikeouts.
