As the main aggregator of blog feeds for BaseballNooz, I was shocked to see that BatGirl is retiring. Last year when I first started collecting all of baseball’s better blog sites for inclusion on our site, I found BatGirl blogging for the Twins and I was mightily impressed with the quality of the writing and the creativity. She was a true original and will be greatly missed. Not only will Twins’ fans will miss her, but fans of baseball’s most exciting division, the AL Central, will miss her too. Thanks for letting us know, though it’s sad news to hear about.

Just to add, the only catch is it must be redeemed within 48 hours of the game. The year’s offense should provide plenty of $1 pizzas for Southeastern Michigan.

I will give validity to the Little Caesars promotion. I went to Andrew Miller’s debut that the Tiger’s won 14-4 and without any formal announcement from the PA, the scoreboard briefly flashed that every time the Tigers score eight runs, a hot ‘n’ ready large pepperoni pizza is $1 with your ticket stub. I went to a Little Caesars and successfully got the delicious rewards that such a good offense provides.
