I’m pretty sure that’s a fake article, but funny. The quote from Greinke sounds faked.

Greinke meanwhile, seemed a little confused about the turn of events. “The last thing I want to do is get dragged into the middle of this,” he commented. “I don’t even drink champagne, so I’ll probably return it or give it to some Royals fans who are stuck watching us play baseball all summer.”

Sadly, that first link would seem to indicate that Chad Durbin is not the second coming of Tom Seaver.

I think that’s correct based on the one start. Of course, those calculations are assuming all we know about a pitcher is the result of one great start. In Durbin’s case, we also know he has a career ERA of 6.17 over 172 innings–well over one run above the league-average ERA.
