Granderson's OBP at the end of each month of the season:

April: .376
May: .371
June: .375
July: .367
Aug: .341
Sep: .336

It peaked at (other than early in the season) .389 in June, and ranged from .373 to .389 that entire month. When the Tigers were doing well, Granderson was fantastic and I believe he led the league in Win Shares for a brief time.

That same formula - as goes Curtis, so go the Tigers - held up in the playoffs, too. In the first two rounds his OPS was 1.097. In the WS, he was 1 for 21 with only 1 walk and we know how that went.

Curtis had a very prescient quote during the World Series where he said he thought the Cardinals had done very good scouting to find their weaknesses and they were exploiting them. Let's hope the Tigers' player development can do the same thing and help erase (or at least shrink) them.

Was Granderson's OBP ever much higher than .350? I don't remember him ever having a "great" OBP. .350 is adequate, but certainly not great.

Some of them are tough with only 3 spots. I believe Monroe deserved some tough consideration for postseason player though.
