This has nothing to do with strategy, but with managing people… which seems to be the part of a manager’s job description everyone forgets when they say “A manager really only affects the outcome of 3-4 games a year.” I would argue what he does outside the dugout matters more than that. I might get down there again this year to enjoy the AZ scenery and catch a game or two. Clevlen and the 3 pitchers will be particularly interesting to watch.
