Oy vey. The bats let the Tigers down this afternoon.

I like that no matter how well the Tigers play, there's always some hook for Leyland to latch onto to keep the team hungry.

On Saturday, it was Bonderman giving up a run and being pulled (Bonderman was furious at himself in the dugout, and Leyland arm-around-the-shouldered him after Zumaya struck out Sexson). Today, it was the White Sox winning in 19 innings and nipping at the Tigers' heels in the AL Central.

Lastly, Viva Italia!

What are they going to do with the uniforms? Do they go for auction? Ya bummer they did not win. The crumsox just won in 19.

Great first half, lets see what happens in the second.

>> Billfer I am coming to the 8/3 game with my eight year old. I will be happy to buy you and anyother bloger dinner that night at the park. Its the least I could do for keeping this site up and running. Can not stay for the 8-4, he has hockey camp in Rochester NY on Sunday morning.
