The bats let the Tigers down this afternoon. I like that no matter how well the Tigers play, there's always some hook for Leyland to latch onto to keep the team hungry. On Saturday, it was Bonderman giving up a run and being pulled (Bonderman was furious at himself in the dugout, and Leyland arm-around-the-shouldered him after Zumaya struck out Sexson). Today, it was the White Sox winning in 19 innings and nipping at the Tigers' heels in the AL Central. Lastly, <i>Viva Italia!</i> Oy vey. The bats let the Tigers down this afternoon.
