Jack Hannahan, Kevin Hooper, and Ryan Raburn all had 2 hit games while Ryan Ludwick homered. Colby Lewis was rocked for 7 runs in 3 innings. Mark Woodyard was solid in 2 innings of relief with 3 K’s and 2 walks.

Bowie 7, Erie 0
This game was called early, and not because of the mercy rule, rain ended the game after 6 innings. Bobby jones game rup 6 runs, 5 earned in 4 innings. He allowed 3 walks and 9 hits while fanning 3.

Lakeland 5, Dunedin 2
Dallas Trahern scattered 6 hits and 2 walks over 6 innings and allowed only two Dunedin players to cross the plate while K’ing 4. Kevin Whelan looked to have his early season mojo working as he struckout the side in the 9th. Clete Thomas tripled and singled and Jeff Larish added a double.

West Michigan 5, Burlington 1 (16 innings)
The Whitecaps played nearly two games in one last night. The game remained notted until the 16th inning when Matthew Joyce hit a 2-out bases loaded single to break the game open. A throwing error cleared the bases. Michael Hollimon doubled, tripled, and reached on a sacrifice bunt. Cameron Maybin was 3 for 7 with 3 strikeouts. Lucas French went the first 7 innings allowing only 4 hits. The bullpen held Burlingotn scoreless for the next 9.

Oneonta 5, Lowell 2
Scott Sizemore, Brennan Boesch, and Ron Bourqin all picked up 2 hits in the heart of the O-Tigers order. University of Michigan catcher Jeff Kunkel added 2 hits as well. Zachary Piccola walked 3 in 4 innings, but only allowed one hit.
